Our Story
Long ago, in a town far, far away, there lived a humble raccoon named Rascal. He spent his days doing wizardry, but after each spell and creation. They would all end up as failures, leaving him with only scraps and broken pieces. One windy day, as he strolled through the town searching for inspiration, he discovered discarded bits of trash, fragments of old ceramics, and even a few forgotten treasures buried in the sand. That’s when the idea struck him like a bolt of lightning. To make use of the scrap of failure to make something beautiful.
With his wizard hat and an old cauldron for glazing, Rascal began to work his magic. Piecing broken shards made into wonderful bowls, blending trash into rustic urn handles, even firing clay in barrel kilns rescued from junkyards—his pottery became more than utility or art. Each piece began to tell a story of greater meaning.
Word spread fast. Neighbors were amazed by his pieces. Customers proclaimed Rascal’s craft the work of a “Trash Wizard.” The name stuck, and so did the legacy.
Today, Trash Wizard is the continuation of Rascal’s vision:
Vision: To prove that all trash has worth and to seek ethical practices in all of our art.
Craft: Transforming trash into treasure—each item is handmade and one of kind.
Magic: The belief that everyday life deserves a little bit of magic. When you bring home a Trash Wizard piece, you’re not just adding pottery to your shelf—you’re part of our larger story. You’re supporting ethical art. And above all, you’re embracing the magic of trash wizard.
